On Monday (April 13), Twice released the trailer for their upcoming YouTube Originals docu-series Twice: Seize the Light, and it looks epic.
The eight-episode series will follow the wildly popular K-pop act throughout their 2019 Twicelights world tour, which included the girl group’s first U.S. tour dates with stops in Los Angeles, Newark and Chicago.
Set to 2019’s “Stuck in My Head” and 2019’s “One in a Million,” the trailer depicts the nine-piece prepping for their tour in rehearsals, as well as behind-the-scenes footage from New York City to L.A. as the band travels the world. The docu-series will also feature exclusive, one-on-one interviews with each of the band members and their families, charting their course to becoming one of the most popular and successful girl groups in K-pop history.
While Twice most recently released a repackaged version of their second Japanese album, &Twice, the band’s label JYP Entertainment signed a new strategic partnership deal with Republic Records in February to help the group “present the next level of K-pop” with their upcoming era of music.
Twice: Seize the Light is set to premiere Wednesday, April 29 on YouTube at 10:00 a.m. EST/ 7 a.m. PST, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday.
