On Wednesday (November 13), Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello did just that when the couple stepped out to get some new ink in West Hollywood. According to Billboard, the “Senorita” musicians sought out Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Kane Navasard for their new body ink. Per images posted on social media, Mendes opted for the letter “A” in honor his little sister, Aaliyah, behind his ear. The “Havana” songbird, on the other hand, celebrated her first-ever tattoo with the phrase “it’s a mystery” scrawled across her pink finger. As the music outlet points out, the idiom is a reference to the 1998 adaptation of Shakespeare in Love.

Mendes and Cabello’s tattoo night out comes just days after the pair was caught kissing courtside during Monday night’s (November 11) Los Angeles Clippers game at Staples Center. In case you missed the smooch fest, the 22-year-old songstress and 21-year-old crooner literally couldn’t keep their lips to themselves, as the duo took every opportunity to sneak in a smooch whenever they could.
Hours before the young lovebirds got inked up, the “Liar” songbird revealed the cover artwork and release date for her sophomore album, Romance, arriving on December 6.
