Niall Horan appeared as a singing ghost straight out of a ’70s strip club in an SNL skit Saturday night (Dec. 14).
Sharing a hot tub with his fellow apparations (Scarlett Johansson and Cecily Strong), as well as an unsuspecting couple (Chris Redd and Ego Nwodim), Big Jim (played by Horan) helped tell the story of their deaths before they disappeared at midnight.
“I bet they’re gonna teach us some kind of Christmas lesson,” Nwodim’s character said before the spirits sang a cheery tune describing their drowning while on Christmas quaaludes in 1973.
Horan was the night’s actual musical guest, too, having performed “Nice to Meet Ya” and “Put a Little Love on Me” during the same episode.
