Harry Styles was reportedly robbed at knifepoint on Friday night in London. The “Adore You” singer was allegedly approached by a man who demanded cash, with Styles quickly turning over what he had.
The Metropolitan Police confirm they are investigating the incident, after the Mirror Online first reported with the situation with Styles. “It was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and threatened him with a knife,” they shared in a statement. “The victim was not injured; however, cash was taken from him. No arrests [were made] and enquiries are ongoing.”
A source tells the Mirror Online that Styles was quick to give the robber what he wanted, remaining calm in the moment but left shaken afterward. “He actually played it pretty cool, quickly giving the assailant cash, keeping himself and the guy calm and getting the situation over with,” they say. “Understandably though it left him very shaken up afterwards.”
Tuesday night Harry Styles is at the BRIT Awards at The 02 Arena in London, where he is up for two awards and is scheduled to perform.
