French Montana was rushed to the hospital after experiencing a number of serious health concerns.
The “Unforgettable” rapper remains hospitalized in Los Angeles after suffering cardiac issues and intense nausea as early as Thursday afternoon, TMZ reported Friday morning (November 22). Per the celebrity gossip outlet, it was actually Los Angeles County Sheriff deputies who, on orders to visit French’s Calabasas home for a potential robbery, made the call to get the entertainer medical assistance.
French was subsequently transported via ambulance on Thursday around 1:30 p.m. Even though responding deputies determined the emcee was “acting abnormal and seemed out of it,” TMZ indicates it was a false alarm.
Sources close to French told the outlet he’d been “suffering severe stomach pains, nausea and … an elevated heart rate.” This may or may not be due in part to the amount of traveling the star has been doing in recent weeks, including obligations in the Middle East and Europe; though it’s also suspected he may just have been exposed to contaminated food.
Thankfully, French is said to be awake and alert while receiving medical care at a San Fernando Valley hospital, where he’s currently being treated with IV fluids. It’s likely he’ll be released sometime today.
