Demi Lovato’s emotional ballad, “Anyone,” was meant as appetizer ahead of her upcoming era ad it seems like we’re on the heels of its big jumpstart.
On Monday (March 2), the comeback kid, 27, took to Instagram to share details about her brand-new single. “Couldn’t keep it a secret any longer. My new single #ILoveMe is out on Friday,” she wrote in the caption of the post. In addition to the details, Lovato also shared the single artwork, which sees her wearing a red coat and matching lipstick out on the streets. With her head tilt back and her eyes closed, the singer looks at peace and it feels like a fitting sentiment to the song’s title. The track was reportedly produced by Pop & Oak.
At rest with a new team and strategy, Lovato has been making baby steps to fully return to the spotlight and it sounds like she’s truly happy for herself and others. In fact, a source recently told Us Weekly that she is happy for Wilmer Valderamma’s newly-announced engagement, despite dating the actor for six years. “She is still in touch with Wilmer, but obviously not in a romantic relationship way,” an insider told the celebrity gossip outlet. “There is still love there for sure, but Demi fully supports him and his engagement to Amanda. She just wants what’s best for him and for the both of them to be happy.”
Expect more from Lovato when her upcoming Quibi talk show, Pillow Talk with Demi Lovato, launches on the new streaming platform on April 6. She will serve as executive producer on the series with manager Scooter Braun via Goodstory Entertainment and SB Projects.
