Don’t expect any 4th of July posts from Captain America this year. Chris Evans deleted his social media accounts for the summer.
He says, quote, “I’m treating myself to a summer with less screen time, so I’m taking a little break from Twitter and Instagram. See you soon! Much love!”
Chris isn’t the only one taking a break, Taron Egerton is too. In fact, Chris reposted Taron’s announcement and said, quote, “Couldn’t have said it better myself!!! Count me in.”
Taron didn’t specify how long his break will be, but his accounts are still up. He says, quote, “I’ve gotten myself into a place where I spend too much time scrolling . . .
“I actually feel like my ability to sit and be present is eroding as a result. I feel a bit removed from myself. And with regards to work, I know I am capable of more and [Instagram] is one of several impediments to getting me there.”
