Billie Eilish just received a temporary restraining order against an obsessed fan who kept showing up at her LA house.
The restraining order detailed that the fan must stay 200 yards away from the singer and her family as well as cease all contact.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, 24-year-old Prenell Rousseau continuously showed up at the “you should see me in a crown” singer’s house ringing the doorbell, laying down by a wall refusing to leave, and allegedly even tried the door handle — so scary!
Eilish’s dad answered the door once and asked the trespasser if he could help him to which the man replied, “I think I might have the wrong house, but does Billie Eilish live here?”
After being told that the 18-year-old doesn’t live there, Rousseau returned to the house later that evening. Eilish stated in the documents, “while we waited for security, Mr. Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue. My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused …”
According to TMZ, the obsessed fan came to Eilish’s private residence seven times and for five of those times he was not wearing protective gear such as a face mask or gloves.
The documents also state that given the current coronavirus pandemic, law enforcement did not detain the trespasser as “they’re trying to keep non-violent offenders out of jail due to the spread of COVID-19.”
