For Carlos O. Rodriguez, Jr. (C-Lo) being a radio personality was all he ever wanted to be. C-Lo, the newest member of Hot 106.1 has been involved with music since he was just a boy. From 6th to 11th grade he was a concert violinist at his junior high and high school. It was during his senior year at Vidal M. Trevino Magnet School that he found a deep passion for radio. We fast forward to 2005 where he joined the military and served his country proudly for 6 years. In September of 2011 C-Lo auditioned in the ‘Fight for the Mic’ contest held by Hot 106.1, in search of a new radio personality. With the support of his family and friends his dream became a reality! You can listen to him every evening (7pm – 11pm) … where he hosts the ‘Hot 8 at 8’, ‘Hot or Not?’ and Friday Night Flava!
