Kanye West expressed tons of gratitude for Travis Scott over the weekend. West thanked Scott for sending him the location and time for his daughter (whom he shares with Kim Kardashian) Chicago’s birthday party.
On Saturday, Kardashian and Kylie Jenner hosted a joint doll-themed birthday party to celebrate their daughters Chicago and Stormi’s 4th birthdays. West claims that his estranged wife, Kim K, did not invite him to the party. However, Ye made an appearance thanks to Travis Scott, according to an Instagram video shared by Hollywood Unlocked.
“Yo, I’m so happy right now,” West said in the clip. “I just came from Chi’s party and I just gotta shout out to Travis Scott for sending me the address and the time, and making sure that I was able to spend that birthday memory with my daughter to be there with the rest of the family.”
The “Hurricane” rapper mentioned that Jenner actually let him into the party after security stopped him when he first arrived. “It’s just a matter of having a conversation, open dialogue and everyone had a great time — I’m really happy that I could be there for my children,” he continued.
West concluded the clip by thanking fans for support, adding “my life centers around my children.” Reportedly, a source told PEOPLE that West is “always welcome” at family events.
Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021. The former couple have three other children together North, Saint, and Psalm.
