Sheerios now have another bite of Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits.”
The British singing star’s new single isn’t due to drop for another week, but we got another early taste, thanks to a new preview streaming on TikTok.
It’s a pounding pop number, and a major shift from Sheeran’s troubadour style. “Bad Habits” just might be made for clubland.
The snippet, a three-day exclusive on TikTok, follows a teaser and the release of a short video of him performing it acoustically.
Sheeran will play the track live as part of a mini-set at the TikTok UEFA EURO 2020 Show, slated to be staged at his home ground of Portman Road, Ipswich Town on Saturday, June 26.
“Bad Habits” will drop in full the previous day, June 25.
The song is the Grammy-winning singer’s first official release since his 2019 No. 6 Collaborations Project. Sheeran debuted a new song “Visiting Hours” back in March, a tribute to his great friend, the late music industry pioneer Michael Gudinski.
