He was a coach for the first sixteen seasons of The Voice and is now ready to make his glorious return to the show, for one night only at least.
Adam Levine was one of the original coaches on The Voice as Billboard reports he’s set to come back to the show for a special performance with Maroon 5. Levine and his bandmates will perform their hit single “Beautiful Mistakes” off their upcoming album Jordi.
Levine’s highly-anticipated return will take place during the season finale set to take place Tuesday, May 25 at 8PM ET on NBC.
“It’s good to be back on The Voice and see Carson, Kelly, Nick, and John,” Levine told Billboard in a statement. Funny enough, he didn’t mention Blake Shelton, who has served as his “archrival” on the show.
While The Voice is still narrowing down who the finalists will be, Blake Shelton has already made up his mind that one current contestant is bound for stardom. That would be his team member Cam Anthony.
“I’ve never had more people asking me about an artist on my team in 20 seasons of doing this show, man,” Blake said. “You could be the first superstar that we launch off the show.”
