Bruno Mars wants in on Music’s Biggest Night.
After the Recording Academy announced the stacked list of performers for this Sunday’s (March 14) ceremony, a roster which includes Taylor Swift and Post Malone, to name a few, Mars took to Twitter to ask if he could hit the stage, too. Check out his plea below.
Mars went on to declare that Silk Sonic would follow all COVID-19 protocol and tossed in a joked about the pair’s willingness to send in an audition tape and take as many coronavirus tests as they need to. “I promise we won’t be extra. We just really want a gig again. I hope you’ll consider this request and give us the opportunity to shine,” he concluded, adding, “Love, Silk Sonic.”
