Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving and Christmas specials will air on TV, after all.
After Apple TV+ acquired the rights to the beloved Peanuts holiday specials, online petitions came pouring in from viewers who were used to watching the animated specials on network TV. Apple attempted to compromise by offering each program to stream for free for a handful of days, but the industry giant has gone a step further.
On Wednesday (November 18), Apple announced a new team-up with PBS for ad-free broadcasts of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on November 22 and A Charlie Brown Christmas on December 13 at 7:30 pm local time.
