And check out a new visual for the Lil Uzi Vert version of the song.
If you’re hosting another social distancing dance party this weekend, then The Weeknd has the perfect addition to your playlist.
The singer has teamed up with Major Lazer for a beat-banging remix of his single “Blinding Lights,” which slathers a dancehall bounce, squelchy horns and booming bass onto the original for that signature tropical Lazer groove. And just wait until you get to the booty bouncing breakdown near the end.
There’s also a new video for the “Heartless” remix featuring rapper Lil Uzi Vert, which swirls moody, distorted VCR live footage with woozy animation.
The Weeknd’s After Hours could capture a fourth straight week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart next week. If the set holds atop the list, it will mark the first album to spend its first four weeks at No. 1 since Drake’s Scorpion in 2018, and just the fifth set since 2018 to log at least four total weeks at No. 1.
