Hayley Williams celebrated her birthday by sharing some huge news: this new year is about to bring some new music with it.
The Paramore frontwoman turned 31 on Friday (Dec. 27), and shortly after she added another candle to her birthday cake she revealed that 31 will indeed be “an important year,” and one that will feature the launch of a solo project that involves collaborating with her “closest friends” in the early days of 2020.
“I’m putting out some music next year,” she wrote in a note posted to her social media accounts. “With the help of some of my closest friends, I made something I’m going to all my own. It’s a really special project and you’ll get a taste of it in January.”
The solo project is merely one of the developments currently on Williams’ 2020 calendar: in addition to continuing work with her vegan and cruelty free hair dye company, Good Dye Young, she’ll be bringing back the Sanctuary of Self-Love campground to Bonnaroo, where festival-goers can take a break from the music and throw themselves into yoga, reiki. sound baths and more.
